Funding. Cultural Cooperation between ACP and EU Countries

The European Commission funds cultural cooperation projects between cultural operators of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States and with operators withing the European Union.

Grant Aims: Projects should reinforce the technical, financial and managerial knowledge and capacities in the cultural sector in the ACP States. Generally, the promotion of an enabling environment for creativity, cooperation and exchanges, independence aims to contribute to poverty reduction and sustainable development. The total budget is 2,3 million Euro.

Grant Type: Co-financing for cultural actions with a multiregional scope:

1. Multi-annual cooperation projects (Lot 1): projects in partnership with a multiregional outlook, comprising a number of multi-annual cultural activities aiming to a better structured and professionalized ACP cultural sector.
   
2. Cooperation measures (Lot 2): pilot innovative partnership actions in the field of cultural industries, projects may be sectoral or cross-sectoral in nature.
